Advice from our agronomist
When to sow Sow all year round on a windowsill: scatter the seeds densely on a moist base (coconut fibre, cotton wool, cloth or a thin layer of soil) and do not cover them with soil. Seeds germinate in 2–3 days.
Sowing Cover the tray with a lid and keep it in the dark for 2–3 days, then move it into the light. The optimal temperature is 18–22 °C.
Care Moisten with a spray 1–2 times a day so the base neither dries out nor stands in water. Ventilate as needed to prevent mould.
Feeding and harvest No feeding is needed. Cut the microgreens 5–8 days after sowing, once the seed leaves have opened, at the base and use them fresh.
