Vasksulfaat – Sinine kristall MKDS 1kg
About this product
Copper sulphate (blue vitriol, CuSO₄) — blue crystals and the oldest, best-known fungicide in the garden. As a solution it is used mainly in early spring before bud break and in late autumn after leaf fall, when the tree has no leaves that could be damaged.
Copper stops fungal spores from germinating on the bark and the soil surface, where scab, brown rot, late blight and leaf curl get their start. The same solution is also used to treat greenhouses at the end of the season and to disinfect wounds on trees.
The pack contains 1 kg. Caution: wear protective gloves and follow the instructions on the pack.

Advice from our agronomist
Only during dormancy. Copper solution is not for a tree in leaf — it scorches foliage. The time is before bud break or after leaf fall.
Pick a dry, still day. Rain washes the solution off and the work has to be repeated; wind carries the spray onto the next bed.
Do not mix in metal. Prepare the solution in a plastic or glass container: metal reacts with it and the product loses its effect.
