40 L Lillemuld Farmland 40
About this product
Universal flower compost is a ready-to-use growing medium for houseplants, balcony plants and summer bedding flowers. It is suitable for planting, repotting and refreshing pot compost: the mix is balanced and already contains a starter fertiliser that lasts for the first weeks of growth.
Good potting compost is not only about nutrition but also about structure: the blend of peat and additives holds moisture yet lets excess water drain away, so roots get oxygen and do not rot. The compost is sieved and weed-free, so unlike garden soil it will not bring weed seeds or soil pests to your houseplants.
The pack contains 40 l.

Advice from our agronomist
Do not press the compost down. Fill loosely and tap the pot on the table — compacted compost holds no air and roots struggle.
Start feeding after about a month. The starter fertiliser lasts the first weeks; after that move to a liquid feed with watering.
Add drainage. Even good compost cannot save a pot with no hole and standing water: 2-3 cm of clay pebbles at the bottom lets surplus water out.
