Advice from our agronomist
Light and position Grows in bright indirect light and tolerates part shade. Strong midday sun can scorch the leaf tips.
Watering Water moderately once the top of the soil has dried; thick roots store water so the plant tolerates short dry spells. Water less in winter.
Humidity and care Brown tips come from dry air, hard water or too much fertiliser – use soft water and trim the dry ends.
Feeding and repotting Feed every 3–4 weeks from spring to autumn with a foliage fertiliser; not in winter. Repot in spring when thick roots fill the pot.
