Planting Plant the bulbs from September to October in a sunny spot in well-drained soil, 15–20 cm deep and 40 cm apart; the bulb has a strong smell.
Watering Water moderately while growing; do not water after the leaves yellow.
Pruning Cut dry stems only after they have yellowed.
Feeding and winter care Feed in early spring with a potassium-rich fertiliser. Overwinters without cover; do not disturb the bulb in autumn.
